Tayab Haq, Business Development Manager at Brenntag Food & Nutrition in the UK, joins the panel of contributors to discuss whether career in ingredients can be the perfect route to a rewarding role in food and nutrition.
Tayab is a Food Technologist with 18 years manufacturing experience. He has worked in NPD roles across a diverse range of categories for major UK food manufacturers; sandwiches, desserts, ready meals, herbs & spices, sauces and soups. Inspired to go into the food industry after a family friend got him tickets for an open day at an ice cream factory, he now enjoys helping manufacturers with technical and formulation advice on ingredients in his current role with Brenntag Food & Nutrition.
In the podcast Tayab offers his view on why the industry is such an exciting area to work in, discusses the changes upcoming with regards to ingredients legislation, and introduces the “Enjoyability with Employability” concept for the industry to continue to attract new talent.
